After Hours Dating is a space built for adults who know what they want. We built this platform on the belief that genuine connection requires respect, honesty, and intention. Every person on this platform deserves to feel safe and valued. These rules are not suggestions.
Treat every person on this platform the way you want to be treated. If you would not say it to someone's face in public, do not say it here.
Use real, recent photos of yourself. Write an honest bio. Be who you say you are. Catfishing, impersonation, and fake profiles result in permanent bans with no warning and no refund.
Do not misrepresent your age, relationship status, location, or intentions. Authenticity is the foundation of every genuine connection.
No means no. If someone does not respond or asks you to stop messaging them, respect that immediately. Persistent messaging after being ignored or rejected is harassment and will result in account termination.
Do not send explicit, sexual, or graphic content to anyone who has not explicitly asked for it. This applies to photos, text, voice messages, and any other content.
Never share your financial information, home address, or workplace with someone you have just met on the platform.
When meeting someone from After Hours in person for the first time: always meet in a public place, tell a friend or family member where you are going, arrange your own transportation, and trust your instincts.
After Hours Dating is not responsible for the behavior of users off the platform. Your safety in person is your responsibility.
The following result in immediate permanent removal with no warning, no appeal, and no refund:
Open every conversation with genuine interest and respect. Crude opening messages, sexual comments, or aggressive compliments are not welcome. Remember there is a real person on the other side of every conversation.
If a conversation is not going the way you hoped, end it gracefully. A simple message letting someone know you are not interested is always the respectful choice.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, violates these guidelines, or makes you feel unsafe, report them immediately using the in-app reporting feature. Tap the three-dot menu on their profile or in the chat, select Report, choose the reason, and add any additional details.
You can also contact our safety team at safety@afterhoursdatingapp.com at any time. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team and we respond to urgent safety concerns as quickly as possible.
You can block any user at any time. Blocking someone prevents them from seeing your profile, sending you messages, or appearing in your discover feed. Blocked users are not notified that they have been blocked.
Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes action ranging from warnings for minor violations to immediate permanent bans for serious violations. We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required and will provide user information when legally compelled to do so.
We reserve the right to remove any user from the platform at any time for any reason that violates the spirit of this Code of Conduct, even if not explicitly listed above.
